Whats going on this weekend with you??...
Today I hit a few yard sales. Got two nice roasting pans for $1 each
A lovely, lined blue jean jacket for winter for $2
and a set of China for $20. I have never had real China before.
Tomorrow dh and I are going to collect some wood from the wood lot. I am taking yds to the 2nd hand shop in town to see about jeans. I want dh to take yds's storm window to be repaired. Other then that just a quiet day.
Sunday I dont think we have anything planned except general chores. Dh may chop some wood.

Well for me it's mostly house stuff but tomorrow (Saturday) I have a friends DD's Bday party to go to (their gifts are stuff I won when we went down the shore - artists kit, drawing stuff) so although I did pay for the stuff by playing at the arcade I didnt have to go buy MORE gifts with money we couldnt afford to spend.
Sunday, well that's my Bday so I will "try" to be QUEEN for the day but I dont see that happening, any Bday money I get will go towards milk, bread, eggs, etc...

I don't have a lot planned. I may do some cleaning tomorrow after I workout in the a.m. and hope to swim tomorrow afternoon. I've had a week of playing hostess and then trying to catch up from it so I'm tired, ready for a break. I'm gonna wash my bedding for sure, didn't get that done the other day.

Today I am doing a Product Demo at Publix, then coming home and fixing supper, watching some movies and baking some peanut butter cookies. Yummy!
I also noticed that the 2 Silver Dollar fishies I bought for my 55 gal. tank are floatin' this mornin' so I gotta scoop them up and take their lifeless bodies back to Petco for an exchange. I only had the lil ones a couple days.

Today is my oldest dd's 15th birthday :birthday: She chose Pizza Hut Bistro as her birthday dinner. We are having her party tomorrow because dh & my mom both have to work today.
I have to go to the Farmer's Market for wine (forgot on Wednesday) and pick up dd's cake at Price Chopper - she wanted a real picture transferred onto her cake and that's out of my repertoire
While I'm out, I'll stop by the dollar store for wrapping paper and a couple more three-ring binders. My youngest needs FIVE for 8th grade.
When I get home the kids are going to pick up all their toys out of the yard so dh can mow tomorrow morning. Sunday, after dh does the yard, we are going to pick up my new cell phone then meeting my mom & dad at the beach for Darcee's birthday. We'll have cake & ice cream at home afterwards. I tried cake at the beach once...not fun!

Lots of birthdays to celebrate!!! Hope you all have a nice one!!! My dreaded b-day is a week from today - blah!!! I hate getting old!!! Wish we could start out old and go backwards.
We have got to do a little straightening up this morning. I am also waiting on the floor guy - yep, 6 weeks and my floor is not finished yet!!! It isn't even a big room - only 284 sq ft. I hate to see how long it is going to take when we get the biiger spaces done. I really hope he comes today.
DH and the kids need to go finish doing a lady's yard down the street. They almost finished yesterday and the rains came.
Our 9-10 year old baseball team from our league won the sub-district and district tournaments. They are starting the state tournament today - only 6 wins away from being the state champions and then playing in the World Series!!! If we get everything done, we want to go watch them play at 3:30. They are the age division right under the one DS plays in and he is good friends with a few of them.
Tomorrow I think we may head to the zoo for a bit. I can only handle our zoo in spurts - too big and not very interesting to me. At least we are members and get in free.
Also, need to switch the kids' bedrooms. They want each other's room so we can get that done in no time. Then we need to paint the bedrooms and hallway.DD (19)

I've got a pile in the garage to post to freecycle this am. Hope to find the floor out there soon. Also have some folks coming by this am for plants and visit with DH. This afternoon we've got a painting bid to do. Then we'll settle at home for videos and quiet. Tommorrow we've got to go to Wesley Chapel and do some prep work for this comings week of night work. Should be another intresting week (not!!!).

Lots of housework for me to tend to this weekend. I've kinda slacked off doing anything when I got home for work this week. It's been so hot here that I've just been coming home dragging everyday. (I'm in and out of the heat all day on my job) Hopefully I will get done in time to spend some relaxing time in the pool. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!! Happy Birthday to all the Birthday Girls out there!!

Today we are heading out to the Puerto Rican Festival, after we pick up new glasses for me and oldest DD.
Tomorrow is my oldest DD's birthday. Cyrena turns 10
and her father is taking her to Six Flags, while I am home cooking up a storm for a little family get together that evening.

Not much going on this weekenda and Im kinda enjoying it. I spent last night with the bf and may go join him and his son this evening for dinner after they survive seeing the new Harry Potter movie....Im envisioning a super packed theatre full of kids and both begrudged and eager fans of parents LOL. Either way its going to to be too many people for me and Im free as a bird here in my own basement just me myself and I.
All Ive done so far is tidy up the living room, emptied the trash and recycling and started laundry...I even got to sit with my feet up for a bit enjoying a cup of coffee
Today I plan on tackling the clutter that keeps me company down here and will probably do this tomorrow too as BF has to work......all I know is that every lil bit removed, sorted and purged will help. Wish me luck!Last edited by Libby; 07-21-2007 at 02:35 PM.

I took my daughter out to get Harry Potter last night. She read all night long LOL.
Today I have to spend a few hours at work and maybe tomorrow too. We have a big project at work that is nearing completion and we are just barely making it on time. I hate working weekends, but I am taking a vacation in Aug so I can't complain too much.

I went out at midnight to pick up the new Harry Potter book for dd. She has been reading all day. Today, I have not done much, really. I vacuumed the house, did a load of laundry, and the regular daily stuff, like unloading the dishwasher, sweeping the kitchen, and making the bed.
DH works on Saturdays, and I don't have the car, so dd and I usually hang out at home. On Sundays, we try to get out of the house and go somewhere, like the zoo, a park, the YMCA, or a museum. Tomorrow we may go the the Wichita Art Museum, since I saw they have free admission the rest of the summer. Our meals will all be eaten at home, as usual.
