    Default Venting a little.

So,,, my Dh is looking at the paper last night and reads a job ad to me. I don't know why he was even looking - because he isn't looking for a new job. Now I'm not looking for a job right now because I have dd (11 mths) and another one on the way in November. Well this job sounded like the perfect job. Entering and maintaining a database and working with SQLs, working closely with computer techs and not a lot of direct supervision. It's at a local MAJOR museum that pays really well. I had to smack him. Hearing that kind of made me want to go back to work - it really would be up my alley. Darn him!!! lol.. Not that I don't like being at home - I do - but I also like to feel like I'm being productive and using my brain and my skills. Maybe if it had come up AFTER November I may have thought it about it.
Sorry... I just needed to rant a little.

I know how you feel. My dh is dropping little hints about me finding a job. I'm not looking for one though.

    I know what you mean!!

Every now and then I peek at the jobs...and have that urge just to go out and WORK! but I did a temporary retail job over christmas in 2005....YUCK!! I got over my urge! lol of course I also ended up pregnant.

I'm getting that itch again too...if I could make enough I would go work for a bit and let dh stay home and be daddy.

Sometimes opportunities happen when you're not looking for them - I wasn't planning on looking for work until August, and the awesome job I have now threw itself at me in Jan, I started working in March. I had to make some tough decisions (like putting DS in daycare 2 days a week), but overall I'm a lot happier (and saner!) and our finances are in better shape. I really like working, especially this job, even though I do miss my son sometimes.
