    Talking My fingertips hurt...

We haven't splurged in anything for a long time and yesterday while DH was getting his haircut, me and DS went to Game Stop. For those of you who don't know what it is, it's a video game store.

I had been thinking of a way for me and DH to spend more fun time together since we can't go out on dates (we have no family nearby to babysit DS and babysitters charge $15 an hour) and things have been a bit rocky lately. So we decided to buy ourselves Guitar Hero II, a game with a plastic "electric" guitar. Basically you have to play the notes (colored buttons) the game tells you to play and OHM it is so much fun!! I used to play guitar (and drums and bass) when I was a teenager and this has definetly cheered things up for us. We had so much fun together, playing to the songs we both like. Now the fingers in my left hand are red and sore but oh it is so worth it!

We bought DS and DD Guitar Hero II and they love it.

It definetly makes your hands and fingers ache at first - especially playing Free Bird on it - that is the longest 13 minutes.

Have fun!!! It is definetly worth the money!!! We love it.

You won't believe this, but my 29 and 31-year old brothers waited outside Future Shop to buy Guitar Hero II the FIRST day it came out. They LOVE it. I however, have the coordination of a drunk raccoon, so I stick to Scrabble. Apparently you can even hook up both guitars (from Guitar Hero I and II) and have a bass player as well as a lead guitarist. I haven't seen that, though, so I'm not sure if it's actually possible. Have fun playing!

Yes, you can play two guitars at once. My kids do it all of the time. There are 3 different modes to do it in. You can either play face-off, pro face-off or cooperative mode. It is so much fun.

We have one. It's not something I'm interested in, but Gabe has had a lot of fun with it. I'm glad you found something you both enjoyed.

LOL Thats great!!! I wish bf would enjoy playing the same games that I do. We both have our own PS2's but I enjoy the driving or puzzle games and he enjoys the military shooting games Hard to have a challenge but I may just have to issue one to liven things up between us since we're both on extreme budgets these days!

Thats for the reminder! And I hope your fingers heal soon enough before the next round
