Then he left thursday and will be gone till sunday, taking his scouts camping. So out of ten days i will have seen dh the few hours those days that he was home. (he did go to work on wednesday, so i didn't really see him much). Can't contact him, his cell isn't getting reception at all.

Enjoy this time to realx and pamper yourself. Go to the library get a book or movie,, or just browse the tv. If you don't want to do that, maybe visit a friend, or a call a friend. Browse the goodwill stores. If not for you, declutter the house, or try to find some new ideas on the computer.

I know how you feel. Sometimes Gripey has to go out of town for a business trip..... the first day I enjoy doing nothing but after that I just miss him like mad. Just hang in there.....the time will go by pretty quickly.

As someone else has already suggested....use this time for YOU. Pamper yourself, make up a home spa session, foot soak, manicure, pedicure, face mask, hair mask etc LOL Dye your hair if you do that? A small box of dye is about $5 no or even less if you find it at a clearance outlet or in your own stockpile. Heh, see if hubby notices when he gets home...
LOL
OR have a girls afternoon/night of it and invite a close gf or family over and do it as a group or do it at their home?
Relax, read, enjoy a special treat or take that time to tackle a project you keep putting off. He'll be home sooner then you know it!
Plus dont forget about us here at the village, we're all here for you!

My husband is in the Air Force, this year he will have been gone 14 weeks (when he gets home from this trip, that is), last year was about 5 months, year before that was 11 months.....you get the idea.
Frankly, I love it. I love having the time for myself to do things the way I want to. My house stays cleaner, we consume less food, and the remote is always where I left it. It also helps with our communication because I can't always talk to him everyday, which helps us to not run out of things to talk about.
Just like the ideas above, I pamper myself, rent chick flicks, hang out with friends (like hosting a knit-night at my house), read a book in peace and quiet, host a "slumber party" for my daughters in my room (rent movies, eat junk food and paint nails) etc. He'll be back before you know it, and who knows? You might wind up looking forward to the next time he's out of town...
