Sad story about dd's best friend...
Her father is an alcoholic, and got fired from the post office. So she is staying here for a few days, because he is threatening to kill the family and himself
! I don't really know how long she will be staying with us, I think till her mom gets moved out of the house. Poor kid is walking around with bags under her eyes, she is only 8 years old. This is like her second home, so she feels comfortable here, and knows we wouldn't let anything happen to her!

How sad and scary for her! It's so good of you to provide a safe place for her to stay. I hope everything works out for her and her family.

Thank you for giving her a warm and safe lpace to come, to think and to sort through stuff. Must be hard on her little heart. Eleni's too to watch her friend go through something that shoudldn't be happening to someone so small.

That is so sad for a child to have to go through something like this. I'm sure she will remember your kindness for the rest of her life.

that is so sad. it is a good thing she welcome in your home.it is sad because this may have repercushions for her later in life with post tramatic stress dissorder. me and my 2 sons have this from their biological sperm donner and it has really messed us up. luckely we are well now but it stays with you. if possable try to get her to talk it helps relieve the stress.she isny alone and neither are you. take care of each other.

I hope her mother has thanked you for helping out. Bless you and your family for helping this family. Maybe her father can get things together.
Peace be with you

You're so good to let her stay there, but I truly hope her mom is o.k. too! Hopefully, she isn't staying there with him!

Thank you so much for being there for her, this poor child. I so hope the whole family can get help. Know there IS a special place for people like you who step in in a situation like this, she DOES appreciate it, and with luck you have made her know there are safe places in this world.
