    Default Smuggy Sunday...ick!

    Good Morning ladies!

I just got home from the bf's as he had to go in to work today - gotta love having the wake up call at 4.30am UGH!

Today I plan on washing a load of towels and hang them to dry - no need to create more heat in the house, smog and air pollution here. I will also continue to declutter my home - one tiny area at a time along with a stint on the gazelle at some point. Possibly surf the net to do some reserach about what to do/see on my vacation coming up at the end of this week Other then that - relax and enjoy this day as 'MY' day

Since Im flat broke (well ok, I REFUSE to dip into overdraft) until Thursdsay - payday - which is also the day I leave for my vacation long weekend after I put in a full day, these are the best 'frugal' things I can do to keep me occupied.

What are we all up to on this hot smuggy (smoggy + muggy) Sunday?

We just got home last night from vacationing in the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Wonderful trip! We had a washer and dryer at the house we rented, so I don't have much dirty laundry. Just a few small loads to catch up on. I have cleaned my toilet. I have a load of towels I left in the dryer when we left on vacation, so I need to fold them and put them away. The dishwasher needs to be emptied. And I have to clean the toilet in the half bath. Other than that, not much to do today. I am going to relax and prepare myself for another week of work.

Working on load of kids clothes that came to me for my charity work. 15 garbage bags full. 3 different households with a total of 10 kids in all shapes and sizes. The common factor dirt, stains and minor repairs. Have sorted down and am now washing dirt stuff, treated stains as I sorted and mending.
Had 2 foster mom here last night picking throught the pile of clean stuff. Both went away happy.
Expect another one today then will take up to the migrant camp for school giveaway in a few weeks.
What really amazes me is all 3 of these moms b**ch about not having any money and yet they will throw away these clothes. Its too much trouble to wash, repair and yard sale. The thing that really sets me off is that some items still have price tags on them. Waste! Waste! Waste!
Will spend the afternoon in rest mode as we have to start another remodel job tonight at midnight. But its the last one for a few monthes.
Weather here is sticky 83 at 7am with a high of about 93 with a heat index of about 97. Hope we get rain as we need it badly.

Not much to do here, just a load of dishes in the dishwasher and load of laundry for my DD, I do want to do some decluttering in the all purpose room, lol but eveything is stored in here for the time being because we had to move everything from the master bedroom into this room for the new carpet going to be put in soon.

We all just got up! Staying home today, making list of school supplies to get tomorrow. Need to clean the shower, do a load of laundry, and give the dog a bath. Making chicken for dinner.

Today: I have cleaned the cats dishes and fed them more dry food/clean water. Now I have to clean their litter box.

Later: I will pick up my prescription from the pharmacy and head to my mom's. I have a few loads of laundry to wash there and I told her I would help her paint her house today. Busy day, but it will be fun. If I have any down time I will clip coupons today for next week's grocery shopping.

Today dh and I are going to the Ashely Furniture warehouse to see what they have for living room sets. Ours is getting pretty shabby. We looked at both furniture stores here in town and didnt see anything we liked. Dont think we will buy anything today, just looking.
General chores are done and we are having meatballs for supper. Have a good day

So far I've done the morning critter chores, made breakfast and mowed part of the yard, about to head out and mow the rest.

It's so super muggy here today it's hard to breathe, but no smog!

Afternoon! Where has the day gone already?

We went to a concert last night (Trent Tomlinson, awesome!!) so we got home late. Thankfully all the kids slept in, so we did to. It's pretty sad when sleeping in is 8:30am

I knit for a bit this morning before everyone got up. Then after my coffee I went & got my hair chopped off. While I was gone dh did some laundry.

Now I'm home waiting for dh to get out of the shower so we can go to my niece's b-day party. We'll be there all day.

Not many plans today! We are just laying around the house and watching NASCAR. I did all the laundry yesterday so I wouldn't have none to do today.
