    Default Hi, howyadoin', pleezestameetcha..,

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about dental plans? I got a circular in the mail about one and I don't know anything about them. I'm self employed, so i don' t have employer based health care. Thanks for any tips.

Hi there Cheeppeep, welcome to the Village!
I can't help you with the dental plans, we don't have insurance for that. To us insurance is mostly reserved for bigger ticket (super major) items and with us being older, braces etc. aren't in the picture. Just take good care of our teeth, get cleanings once or twice a year and hope for the best, lol.

    Hello there

We're also self employed and have looked at all kinds of dental plans. For us it's more economical to pay as we go rather than paying for the insurance. Don't know how big your family is and all that but it's just me and dh now and not worth the premium even with reg. scheduled cleanings and occaissional fixes.

Hello and welcome to the Village.

We have dental insurance through DH's work. It is with Cigna and is ok, but not the greatest.
