Well, phooey, I wish I'd known!
I usually do my weekly grocery shopping on Thursday. Works best for me.
Well, last Thursday I was going to be busy, so I jumped my shopping ahead to Wednesday. Went to the store that's closest to me, and I use quite a bit, ----I'm checking out (and using all my sales and coupons, etc
).....the checkout gal says "do you have AAA?" I say, um, Yes. She says if you show your AAA card on Wednesdays, you get 5% off your entire bill. 
Who knew?? I've been going a day late all this time.
P.S.--they also give 5% off for seniors, but she was nice enough not to ask me if I was that old. I am 53 so I appreciated that.

OH I'd sooo be going back on Wed's with my AAA and ID card to get that 10% PLUS my coupons!

Denise, this is a privately owned chain just in our local area. But I wonder if they got the idea from other family-type stores? I'm sure other stores have something like this on a certain day of the week.
