Good morning. Today dd and I need to go to the library, then run to Winn Dixie for a couple of things. Then home to work on her afghan.

Have to do some extra running for the cancer benefit today. thought I was done til Friday , but guess not. The benefit is Sat.
Just posted it on the events calendar at craigs list.
Now have to post on free cycle.
Then its just general chores and foolishness.
May stop at the library on my way home.

Welcome to August! I woke up early, well early for me, this morning. I have a load of clothes to wash. Both DDs uniforms needed washing. I have cleaned both downstairs toilets. Had a bowl of Fruity Pebbles for my breakfast. Real healthy, huh? I need to fold the towels I washed and dried yesterday. Today is my vacuuming day. I vacuum the area rugs and the carpets in my bedroom and closet. Got to get the DDs to vacuum their rooms. Need to gather up all the garbage, yuck. Then, I have to get myself ready for work. Have a busy day today and will be going in early, booooo! LOL! Oh well, I only have today and tomorrow to work and then off for three days!

I dont have much going on just the normal:

~ Wash a load of laundry
~ Run the dishwasher
~ Have video conference with DS at 1pm
~ Cook dinner

Nothing exciting going on around here today, just the usual around the house chores. Vacuum, sweep, mop, wipe down the bathrooms, laundry, take DS to football camp, ect.

Happy August!!...Today I am heading to the Salvation army store for half price day..then laundry to do...check book to balance...and I don't really know waht else!!..Have a great day!!

Emily--I prefer cocoa pebbles.

But I'm not much of a breakfast person. I quit fighting it a long time ago, and considered it food SAVED and food not on my hips. LOL!

Today I need to go over and clean my dad's apt. He lives alone and it gets pretty dirty over there. He is elderly and can't see well, and walks poorly. I also told him I'd pick up cigars for him

and bring him some beef and noodles. I go there about every other week. He gets meals on wheels, but gets tired of it and wants home cooking.

Tomorrow is Sam's club day. Just a few things I get there.

Good morning! I slept like crap, or actually didn't sleep, last night so I'm a little slow-going this morning. Today I have to:

~vacuum downstairs
~take all the boys' clean clothes upstairs
~go through the boys' school clothes
~sweep & vacuum the upstairs hallway & mezzanine
~finish knitting sock #2
~finish knitting prayer shawl (this may be wishful thinking..)
~take out something for dinner
~finish washing/hanging/folding/putting away all other laundry
~get the bathmats in the wash!!

walked to the PO
hung out some laundry
picked up house
done dishes
Need to:
Water plants
Harvest veggies
Make dinner
Get some reading time in

Well pooh, I didn't mean to hit reply there...I was Im ing someone and hit the wrong button

I've got to:
~straighten up around the house
~do a load or 2 of laundry
~pay some bills of mine and dad's
~straighten up my desk (always looks like a bomb went off on there)
~figure out something for dinner (we have lots of left overs to eat up)
~get ready for a weekend trip to D.C. to see dson and ddil

LOL, spent 1 1/2 hours yacking with a farmer friend that was dropping off a new skirt for hubby

. (did that get your attentionL? LLOLOLOL) It's a canvas "skirt" for a disc bine.

We talked everything from religion to milk prices (any questions anyone, got the latest scoop right down to what they get per gallon!)

I've done the barn chores
done the dishes
washed and hung a load of towels

I've got to

Harvest more catnip
figure out dinner
sweep the floors (darn dogs are shedding buckets!)
get a nap in somewhere
do evening chores

and off to work at 10PM

Today is going to be an ordinary day!

*2 loads of clothes, hang dry
*Unload dishwasher, reload and run after dinner
*Sweep kitchen floor
*Vacuum living room and hallway
*Pick up living room
*Work on homeshool room
*Water flowers
*Finish cutting grass
*Put away all clean clothes! (There are LOTS!)
*Take out kitchen garbage
*Thaw ham for dinner
*Bake some goodies for dh

*got a new screen door from landlord & they took down the old broken one
