    Talking Free plastic bag!

OK, this new frugal lifestyle is creating some unusual situations.
Tonight, I was walking home from work with my friend, and I stopped in front of the 24-hour pharmacy. I explained that since a) I'm not shopping nearly as much as I used to and b) I've been bringing a canvas bag with me when I do shop to do my part for the environment... I am completely out of plastic bags! I was furious because as a result of trying to be frugal and environmentally conscious, I was now going to have to go into the Duane Reade pharmacy and purchase trash can liners for the bathroom.
She just looked at me, sighed, took her dinner out of HER plastic bag and handed the bag to me. Crisis averted!

LOL, the things we'll do for a plastic bag, lol! That was nice of her though

I know I just shake my head in wonder at our neighbors, they burn all their feed bags and then buy garbage bags, sigh, they SEE us use our feed bags for garbage but don't get the clue! And yep, they're Jones, lol, and whine about being short on money.

    Way to avert a crisis!

We use ours for so many things. I keep a bunch on hand an if we get to many I take them to the recycling bin at the store.
