New here!! Hello!!
How did you hear about frugal village? Google! I've been looking for information about one income living and google brought me here!
What interests you here? Learning about living within our means and making our one income work the most for us.
Do you know any other members here? No
How many kids? Ages? No kids
Tell us about yourself. Well I'm 31 years old married with no kids. Due to my husband's medical problems we've been a one income family for a little over a year now.
Do you own any pets? Yes! I have a mini dachshund named Shaq, 3 rabbits named Lisa, Leslie and Peppers. My husband has a cat named Rex and a turtle named King. We're just a jungle around here. LOL
SAHM or Working mom? I'm a working lady
Married or single? Married
Interests and hobbies? My pets, losing some more weight and getting healthier, gardening, movies and reading.
Hello everyone!! As I said before I just happened to be searching for some information about frugal living and stumbled across this website. My husband has some medical problems that have prevented him for working. Unfortunately I lost my job around the same time last year. I did some temping and finally was hired permanently where I've been temping at. Yeah!
We had quite a bit of money saved during that time but due to situation all that money is gone. We also now have some cc debt due to medical bills that the insurance didn't cover. So now that I have a full time job I'm trying to figure out ways to save money and live within our means without using the credit cards. I was feeling really discouraged about the whole situation but this website gives me hope!! After reading some of the threads yesterday I decided to venture to our local Kroger and bought so much for $46.00!! I'm also going to start collecting coupons so hopefully things will turn around for us soon. I really would like to be able to get our bills paid and somehow make a dent in our cc debt. I can't wait to meet new friends here and learn so much! I guess there's hope after all.
Thanks for reading my long post and again Hello!!!

Hi Oraki, I just ventured on to this website myself, and I cannot believe all the information and incentive I'm getting!! There are so many tips, and just seeing what other people are doing on a regular basis really helps out. The people here are so friendly, and are so willing to share their wealth of information!! I honestly think you're going to gain a lot of valuable information here, as I have in the last little while too! One thing it does is give you hope and incentive that things are about to go right!! Good luck to you!!
