I love my MOM!
My mom rocks! She took me shoping today, well actualy she was shoping for my girls but she incurraged me to toss in something for myself. I needed shoes for both girls so we went to the shoe carnival they had a the unusual buy 1 get one half off but then they also had 10% off for senior citizens , 10% off for military, she had a $5 off coupon plus it was no tax. We got Four pairs of pricey shoes for $70! Now I finaly have a new pair of tennis shoes. Then we went to target and got dd's new backpack and lunch box plus the remaining things on her list. OUr last stop was Belks where she bought me Two new shirts. Did I mention she also took me to lunch and bought me a starbucks.
Last but not least she gave me 100 bucks to help pay for dd's uniforms. I love me mom so much and Im lucky to have her. This is very rare behavior for her , I think she was feeling sorry for me. NOw I have dd setting at the table makeing her a special thankyou.

Funny, when I was a teenager I thought she was a big dork. Now when people tell me I am like her, that makes me proud.
I know that I could ask her for anything and she would do it. I just dont ask becuase I dont want her to worry about me.

That's so sweet! I miss sharing days like that with my mom...she always did things like that for me and DS when I was a single parent.
