I'm Home!!! Gimme a Hug!!!
Wow, it is incredible how much you can miss people you don't actually know in the physical world! I have never been so happy to be back online in my life!!!!!!

:

I'll give you all updates afterwards. But first things first:
My beloved
put our plastic colindar on the stove -- while it was on. Now my electric stove burner is covered in melted plastic. How the heck do I get it off?!!!

I have no idea, you'll probably have to replace the element, for the rest of the stuff i'd ice it and try to chip it off.

Welcome back!! If you can take it off put it on a foil lined cookie sheet in a warm oven. This will soften the plastic and make it easier to pick off. Freezing also works. You may want to try both methods til you get it off.

Hiya and hugs
Glad to see you back.
And did you get the burner cleaned yet? Silly man, but I have to admit I've done that before
and ruined a perfectly good "water-go-macaroni-stop as my hubby calls them. Mine was in a pan though, not directly on the unit, I was able to peel it out.

I don't have any advice about the stove, but welcome back! You've been missed!

Welcome back.
Had a similar thing happen years ago. I turned the stove on low and used a metal pancake turner to scrape it off...don't let it get too hot or it could catch fire. Good luck!

What a stinky mess...... . One of those 'note to self' moments I'll bet.
