    Unhappy Yucky, blah week...

(Venting thread) I'm SO ready for this week to just be OVER.

My Dh hurt his shoulder Tuesday night... We both missed work yesterday (had to take him to doc...then "monitor" him with the meds as doc said). So, we both lost pay for that yesterday. He's still at home, so today's pay is gone for him, too (no sick leave). He's probably not working tomorrow either.

We have no insurance so it was $143 for the doc and then had to pay for the 2 Rx's.

My best friend called me today and just got laid off. She was expecting her annual review and a raise!! Not this! She was already falling behind on bills and they only gave her 2 weeks severance so I have no clue what she'll do.

On top of all that I've been dealing with depression...and can't seem to get out of this "funk" I'm in. I have no goals or dreams anymore and am one of those people who has to have something to reach for/aim at.

Can I go home and go to bed until Monday? I'm ready to start over!

One more day! I'm so sorry you are feeling this way. I understand about your funk, I find myself there fairly often. Sometimes I just decide "Fine, I'll let myself feel this way today, but tomorrow I'm starting over with a new attitude". Sometimes it works. Hugs to you!

Hope things look up soon. I find chocolate, a cuppa really good tea, feet up and ignoring the world while watching my fav movies always helps me! Have a nice weekend!

Well, today went pretty good...swamped at work, but I prefer to be busy.

Dh is MUCH improved...which is wonderful. Still a ways to go, but just so much better! He was able to go to work today!

Hoping to have a fun and relaxing weekend...

Thanks for the hugs and encouragement!
