    Default One thing that tempts you NOT to be frugal?

    For me it would have to be Wendy's Spicy Chicken sandwich, which cost $5+ for a combo

    Those things are addictive

    Shoes! and Clothes!

    I have been very bad this past month or so. But not really, this is something I've been planning to do anyways, and got good deals on everything. The bad part is, I'm not done yet. Muahahaha!
    “When you get to the end of all the light you know
    and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown,
    faith is knowing that one of two things will happen:
    you will be given something solid to stand on,
    or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller

    “Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
    there are signs that the world is speedily
    coming to an end;
    bribery and corruption are common; children no
    longer obey their parents;
    every man wants to write a book and the
    end of the world is evidently approaching.”
    — From a translation of an inscription on
    an Assyrian clay tablet, circa 2800 B.C.E.

    God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
    courage to change the things I can,
    and the wisdom to know the difference

    Different kinds of tropical fruits they get at work, like the golden pineapples, or the tamariillos, or some other strange exotic thing I'd love to buy. I almost bought the tamarillos, because you can actually grow them from seed, but it was $2.99. I still may buy one, or talk them into giving me one they're throwing away.

    The girls in the office always go get coffee from the place in the plaza every morning. Plain coffee is $2, and I can get coffee for free in the back breakroom, so once a month or so, I do get the coffee with them, but normally, I just drink the breakroom stuff.

    I'm thinking of splurging on a thing of liquid Coffee Mate (when it's on sale, of course) to keep in the breakroom for my cheapo coffee. It would make me feel less deprived. I figure it will cost me about $6 a month for that, whereas the $2 coffee will cost me $50 a month.

    My worst temptation, though, is this chicken salad they have at work with fruits and nuts in it! $6.99 a lb.! I'm gonna learn to make my own.

    The hot bar and salad bar at my neighborhood Whole Foods - $7.99/lb. I don't like to cook, and it's far too easy to buy my meals there. I spend way too much every week because of it.
