havent been around for a long time. here's why
Hi everyone, I havent posted for a long time. Things havent been too good around here lately. I posted way back in April, that my Dad passed, had a hard time with that. Still having a trouble dealing with his death. Now my mother is dealing with joint replacement surgery recovery. Being her only caretaker I am going back and forth taking care of her. On top of that the business we started is doing just okay, not much coming in. I have been working not only my 40 hour week, but working at the business as well, and taking care of my mother. I kinda went off the deep end. With all that is going on in my life I feel so overwhelmed. The bills are mounting again, we were doing very well financially but now we are heading back to where where we were 10 years ago. In my misery the other day I realized that I had just about forgotten about FV. I realized that I used to get solice and some great advice for everyone here. I hope I can be a part of this community again.

as silly as it must sound to non-FVers, i think about FV alot. the tips, the stories, the smiles that it brings me to know that there are other people out there like me. that i am NOT the only person in the grocery store trying to save a buck and that i can walk in with my handful of coupons, only buy loss leaders and be proud of the three bags i walk out with, while only spending four dollars, not embarrassed. - everyone here is so supportive and always takes the time to help me sort out the numbers which can be overwhelming just on their own.
glad to have you back.

Sounds like you have had a lot going on......I know how you feel on many of the topics you listed. I lost my mom in Feb., take care of my dad (well he's fairly self sufficient but I do cook for him and pay his bills and check on him several times daily), we are self employed and our business waxes and wanes like most do..... . You have to see 'the secret'.... if you haven't yet. Rent the video and watch it, follow the directions in it...it works
. Life can get ya down but you have to remember that it's only a temporary situation....we'll be with our loved ones again very soon

Hello jinx,
I'm going through something similar. I'm about to spend my whole emergency fund because of my mother having surgery.
I'll say a prayer for you. I'm sure you'll come out of this, like you came out of it before.
