Last night, sitting at the computer with the a/c off in the room, and it comes on all by itself! Hmmm. Glad DH is back home now!

Yeah, at our house in PA we had a little girl ghost that loved to play with my little dd's toys. That, and dd would be sitting up in her bed "talking a one sided conversation to her! How creepy is that. She is 7 now, and still talks about her "friend" that used to talk to her at ni ght!

I guess the ghost was "hot." It needed some air. LOL! I have one that turns the tv channels from time to time. I always say, "I guess you don't like what I am watching." LOL! It also turns our closet light on in the middle of the night. We will wake up in the middle of the night to find it on. UGH! It is not helping with my electric bill. LOL! There are other times when the pictures are rearranged, but it has never tried to hurt anyone or destroy anything. It is a friendly ghost.

We had a cat spirit in our last apartment. When I was there last time, he was very upset that I was leaving. He kept messing around with the radio I had on, changing the stations, and knocking things over. At one point I even heard him cry out, "MEOW!" I finally just invited him to come back with us to our new apartment, but I haven't noticed his presence yet. I hope he does come back with us, I hate to think of him all alone in there...

Ya know, I think I can safely speak for all of us here at the village - friendly ghosts are welcomed. Any relations to the Murphys are not

Everytime I read another ghost siting here at the village makes me think about mine who doesnt like vinegar and tossed it from the shelf in my laundry room

Well, you can have one of mine! According to my friend, the medium, I have a houseful. I told here they can stay as long as they are quiet. So far, so good, but they do hide things.

Our dog sits and stares up at the corners of the ceiling in the living room. Whimpers, cocks his head like dogs do when listening. Sometimes he acts like someone tossed a ball - he runs around and then sits back down and stares at the ceiling again. He does this often. We just laugh and say he is talking to the ghost!

I have two here. My father in law and the man I lived with before he died. When I do something stupid I get a slap upside the head from pop and when things aren't going well there is a lingering smell of a really foul smelling after shave in the air that I don't like. thats the man i lived with watching me cause he knew I'd know it was him. When my hubby was in jail for a month (long story) the odor was here constantly until he came home.

I was just wondering if any of you that say you have ghosts live in a newer home? I have only had an experience once but it was a very old house. After that I have never lived in a home that was more then a few years old.
