my new MySpace site ...

... I must have WAY too much time on my hands. I set up a MySpace site. A couple of weeks ago a friend of ours came up to camp for a week, and she mentioned she'd gone MySpace. My first impression was that that was pretty silly .. MySpace is for kids, hip-cool-scensters and trolls ... right?

Certainly not for middlish-aged parents ...

Buuut ... I looked around at some of those wacky MySpace sites and decided to wade in. I'm keeping my real name private ... I don't know WHO goes looking into stuff like that for sinister purposes ... And I'm still figuring out some of the technical details.

So far I've created three picture galleries ... nature stuff mostly. I don't know what else I'l do with it.

I like tons of them I can't narrow down a fav, but i'm so loving the "old Shack" pic and the phoebe pics too. Love the squirrel too

The shack is in the woods near our house. It actually has power coming in from the street .. there's a connection from the pole and the wire runs a couple of hundred feet into the woods, just draped over tree branches. The box is nailed to a teree ... a hemlock wired for 220v. Weird.

The baby phoebe shot was picked by the National Wildlife Federation for use in their promotional literature (along with Royal Pond and New Fern).

I don't know what else to do with the page, except maybe write about wild plants I've eaten ...

I can see why the pics were chosen. you have a great eye.

ROFL, i use my myspace to keep friends and family,and customers updated on my part time job and such. so i am no help as far as that goes.

I have been on myspace for a few months. I use it to promote my ebay store. And believe it or not, if you keep up with it, it really does increase your traffic. I have a traffic recorder that tells me how people reach my store and the myspace really helps!
