Have you met a fellow village member in person?

I got to yesterday, how cool! Laurie in Brandenton was up our way yesterday and stopped in, we had the BEST TIME! She was on a road trip from FL to Ohio to bring some stuff to a friend, man she and her hubby fly on the roads and made it here in no time! They got a quick farm tour and of course we talked frugal

She brought her hubby Roger along and none of us could quit talking, we had so much in common, and they got to meet all the critters here.

She'll be home soon and her hubby took pictures!

Watch out Laurie, hubby and I might make a suprise road trip your way and INVADE your gorgeous state mid winter!

Oh, and Cleotis said he'll move to Florida any time, he's a wimp in the snow.

I have not met anyone in person from here. But after reading a post by another member I realized we live in the same city and from what I can figure, we live really close to each other also.

I have been giving some thought to PMing her and letting her know we are neighbors.

Ive thought about meeting a few from here who are in the same city but the city is rather large vs a town where its easier but then again I thought about all those who may have joined FV for tips and advice but enjoy their annonominity (sp?) so I dont push for it.

But I think an afternoon tea could be a fun thing

I've only been here for a week or so, but I've seen a few "neighbors" from fairly close by on here. Never met anyone from here that I know of, but I'm not opposed to meeting new friends

Hope your feeling better. You know in the past hubby and I were in your neck of the woods a few times, went to the Nationals when they were in MO, also been to Arkansas a few times, the days of the road trips!

Would love to get together with you and your crew!

K, y'all are welcome to come by here any time you want! You could meet my "big" girl. She just looks so big compared to the minis, LOL. Of course, y'all would have to come when hubby's home so the boys could do their "man" things

Oh, forgot to mention that I'm feeling better. Found out it's a nasty sinus infection and got some antibiotics. I'm still not sleeping well, but slept more last night than I had in a while. That and lack of food would probably explain the dizzy spell I had the other day, *sigh*.

i would love to meet fellow frugalers! most of my friends think im crazy for watching the sale ads and flyers as closely as i do... i think its a smart move. id rather pay less..... geez ya know.

Aww, so glad you got together! I did meet one person from fv before but she's moved on to other places. I have spoken on the phone to 2 people from here.
