So when does school start? I'm so ready for a break from my boys..LOL..
I love them dearly..but I'm so sick of the fighting and the whining day in and day out! I can never make them all happy..there is always someone not happy or bored or fighting with each other and I mean fist fighting... Then there is the never ending fight over the chores.. OH and did I mention that there is no end to their eating....my oldest is 14 and is 5'10 245lbs hes always hungry..my middle child is 12 closer to 13 and eats and eats and eats.. then my 10yr old is alway looking for the sweets to heck with the real food..LOL..I really am having a hard time with them this summer break..I can't wait for the peace and quiet again.. Anyone else feeling the same way?

OK you are living my life right now lol
I love mine to dreath as well but its time for them to go back to school lol
My mil is suppose to come get them for a sleepover,thank god I need a break

How many boys do you have? and whats their ages? Believe me I'm counting down the days... I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this way..LOL..

I remember when the oldest son was home. He would eat and eat and eat too!! AND he was tall and SKINNY! He is still thin, but can eat everything!

Ya know, just a few days ago I said I wasn't in the mood for school, and I'm still not ready for the homework, etc..... but after today, I am SO ready. There has been a nonstop battle and mess here,whining,boredom... you name it. So, I changed my mind, 12 more days and counting!!!!!

I have to add that this weekend we went to a breeder to look at puppies
we decided that in the spring if they save their pennies they can get a puppy,so we made a chore cart and they get stickers for every chore then money at the end of the week,well every two seconds they are asking what can they do for a sticker,Im like ahhhhhhhhhhhh lol

We have 3 boys and 1 girl. Yds and dd, have been in school since July12. The older 2 start on Monday. YEP, I am ready to have my sanity back or what I have left of it anyway. Our boys are just shy of 14, almost 13 and 10. DD is 8. I am tired of the bickering, fusing, fighting, back talking, slaming my doors, messes, dirt, yep, I am ready to regain my home too

OHHHH I hear ya!!! Mine are driving me NUTTTTTY!!! And its just too darned hot to do anything but be inside grating on my ever lovin nerves.

I'm with you on this one! I have two 9 year old boys. They are constantly at each other throats. They want to play video games non stop, and when I tell them ENOUGH they are mad, and pouty, and driving me crazy!!!!! It's a battle all summer long, I tell them to go and play, after 10 minutes they are in saying their hot or bored, (they can play video games and watch tv for hours without getting bored though!).......to top it all off, we are moving to KS this weekend (that's a looooong story I really haven't even gotten into to much here) - anyay, school there started yesterday, but they will be starting Monday YEAH!!!!!!!

Count me in. I love em' but I need a break. I will still have our youngest home but after this summer one will feel like a vacation.
School starts here Sept. 4th, I believe.

I am SO HAPPY to hear others feel the same!! My mother, always has to throw her "bit" in on how she loved having her kids around(yet, was not "invovled" in them) and hated us to go to school, just because of things that happened and looking back, I find that odd, her saying that.
I love my kids dearly but sheesh, they are "rowdy", rough, dirty, messy and take advantage of everything possible especially with me

I'm eager for them to get back to school for three reasons.
1. my sanity
2. a routine
3. being able to keep my house clean for longer than it takes for me to move to the next room

My ds just started back monday(8/13) at high school and my dd starts community college this coming monday(8/20). Their vacation went way to fast!
