Default We're about to get slammed

Tropical storm Erin is making a bee-line for our area. We're getting prepared as much as we are able to. Its agood thing that I stocked up a little on the bottled water last week,b/c on top of the storm, our city has issued a "boil-your-drinking water" warning(yesterday -found e.coli in the system)....and there is NO water to be found at the stores. DH had a field job in another town 40 miles away & b/c of the water warning here, there isn't any water to be found there either. I am a firm believer in stockpiling
Anyway, I have been boiling as much water as I can to add to what we already have for the storm that's suppose to hit tomorrow. Also I have 2 momma rabbits with babies that I need to move into the garage.I need to go outside & turn the other rabbit's water tanks to the inside of the cages so they won't get knocked off by the high winds...and move some light-weight stuff into the garage...sorry for rambling.LOL Just doing a mental check list of what I need to do. Prayers would be appreciated

I will be praying it doesn't do damage to the area when it hits. I hope it sends rain our way because it is so hot!! They said we may get a little rain due to the storm. Fingers crossed XXXXX!

Yep, my mom was pretty upset about the E.coli in the water system thing, especially since they already had problems with the amount of chlorine they were putting in the water a week ago. Good thing you stockpiled! Keep safe, at least the winds are only 42 mph right now. The dangerous part (as usual) will be the rain. I'm sure all that rain will be shooting up our way after it hits you. They are forecasting a 100% chance of rain for our area tomorrow. (Like any of us around here need anymore rain. )

    Keep safe and dry!
