What's going on today, Thurs.?

Hope everyone in Texas is flood free! Take care!

Today, hot and muggy, typical. It is Meet Your Teacher day at school, so we need to be there at 3:00pm. After that need to stop at the grocery store. This morning I finished mowing the grass. Need to do laundry, vacuum, and shock the pool. Don't know what is for dinner. Will have to think about it.

laundry, dishes, scrubbing all the floors,and the normal tidy up. I think Ill relax this afternoon and watch a vcr tape with the kids.

Good Morning! I hope everyone is having a great day thus far. When I woke this morning I didn't make my usual "to do" list. With me trying to kick my smoking habit I am going to do what I feel like doing and not stress myself out with a list. I have gotten a lot done already this morning, trying to keep busy. I have already made the beds, whipped down the kitchen counters, put the dishes away, swept the kitchen and dining room, dusted the living room and bedrooms and got one of laundry going. I still need to do 2 more loads of laundry, mop the dining room, pick up oldest DS from football practice, figure out what's for dinner and whip down the bathrooms. After that, whatever gets done gets done. I plan to nap this afternoon when our youngest does as I didn't sleep well at all last night. I hope everyone has a great day!

I've done the morning barn chores and now am catching up here in the village.

after I run the dogs one more time I'm going to bed, I worked last night, tired ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzz

Not much up again today! I am having a blah feeling week. I am in a "funk" I think. Ugh!

I haven't done anything yet. But need to:

*Clean kitchen counters, stove, load dishwasher(not run),go thru fridge,mop
*Clean this pile of papers I stacked all around computer.
*Mail some things
*Dust Dust Dust
*Make menu for September
*Vacuum

Should do but probably wont:

*Paint garage trim
*Clean window sills
*Clean upstairs

no flooding here! yet....

dallas hasnt seen any floods like some of the other cities this season though. it did rain for something like.. twenty one days straight during june i think. maybe it cut into july. cant remember. its supposed to rain today but thats a first in a few weeks.

today.. im
washing dishes
doing laundry
sweeping/vacuuming
cleaning down the bathroom and putting up new shower curtain
making a few school supply bundles.... i got a great deal on crayola colored pencils at walmart.. only 48cents!!

Good luck to all our Texan villagers. My wife and daughter bought me a dog to keep me company during the day and they are supposed to pick it up tonight. I forget what it is called but it looks like a small collie, about 16 inches when full grown. I will read more of Mortal Prey and probably cross-stitch. Got the dishwasher going and that is about all I am allowed to do for about another month. Have a nice day.

Good morning! Hope all our East Texans are safe & dry today.

Not much going on here today. It looks like it might rain, thankfully I got every bit of laundry done yesterday. Until tomorrow anyways

The only thing to do today is keep up with the kids' messes & wait for the Bug Guy. We have some bees taking up residence on our side porch that have been getting into the walls

Hopefully they're just regular bees & not honey bees. Honey bees cost twice as much to get rid of as regular bees. EEP!

Hi!!!

..Stay safe all who are having bad weather!!...It is overcast and very humid here...we have thunderstorms in the forecast

Got up and started a load of towels and turned dryer back on as last nights load wasn't dry yet....I hate using the dryer, but it has been too humid to hang stuff out...
Got my 2 miles done and I am eating my breakfast now...then balancing checkbook, writing out bills

.....DD is off today and wanted to do something, so I have no idea what the day holds

...

A complete day off. DH and DS#2 went up to our cabin to do a couple of things and I am home alone for that time. I am gonna clean tomorrow, but today I am sittin' on my behind!

Hi everyone

I've been extremely busy working my two volunteer positions since last Thursday. Today I'm trying to catch up on the cleaning and laundry. My neice is also going to stop by this afternoon to say good bye. She's leaving for her first year of college on Saturday.

Got up and made DH's breakfast and then went back to bed. :-) Didn't get to sleep very long because DS#3 called me to ask if I could come pick him up from the church. He spent the night at the church lock-in. Then came home, took shower, took DH some money, filled up DS#3's car with gas, and then made a trip to the dentist for myself. WHEW!

I have some laundry and minor housecleaning to do today. Today is my last day to just sit back and relax because tomorrow begins staff orientation....then school starts on the 27th. I don't understand why staff orientation didn't start Monday instead of Friday? Oh well, I will be there.

*emailed DD to see how her & grandbaby are tolerating the horrible heat

*getting a couple coupon trains ready to mail out
