I thought I would let you know:-)
Good Afternoon Ladies,
Do any of you remember one of my last threads that I started back in June about my friend. Where I was the maid of honor, and was really unsure of what I was expected to give as a gift considering all the financial means on my part of being included in the wedding party. Well it turns out I started a scrapbook for her that she can carry on over time, she absolutely loved it.
Surely there of course is stress being involved with a wedding party but it also gave me good insight for my own wedding for next year. All in all I had a great time celebrating a marriage of two people whom I have known for a long time(17years(Bride and 14years(Groom). Here is the exciting part they are moving into the same city as to where currently live in a few months. I won't go into detail but the bride is in debt, with her and her husband moving here it will give her a fresh start. In fact I get to teach her everything that I have learned from the village and even more about having fun without spending money. The best part about this all is I will have another friend I don't have many out here but I cherish the ones even more so when I do spend time with them.
I also wanted to thank all of you for any advice you have given to me in the past. I really love the fact that nobody is judgemental and will give you their honest opinion in which I take real pride in being a part of.
Thank you for everything,

i remember you post! and what a thoughtful gift for your friend! - not many of the people i know in rl are into being frugal and it makes no sense to me, i dont get why they wouldnt want to save money if they could. i think they think that it requires alot of time and work and so i dont really have rl friends to share it with other than dh. so how nice that she'll be moving closer to you!

I truly love how everyone here is not judgmental. We all are here for our own reasons and it's refreshing to see the encouraging attitude of the village. I know my debt will soon be under control because od y'all... I can't thank y'all enough for what I'm learning here.
