Uploading pics from my camera without the CD
Hi!
I have some pics on my digital camera that I want to get off but I don't have the CD for the camera. My sis has been getting them off for me b/c she has a thing that you put the card in. I have the USB cord for it just not the CD. I would get her to get these off too but I need them for a FSOT on another board. :-)
Is there anyway to get them off without the CD?
Thanks

Do you have a cable that connects from the computer to the camera?
Do you have a photo editing program? There are free ones out there. You should be able to pull the pics from the camera, or a copy of them. I don't use the software that came with my camera, it's a pain in the patootie. I just access the camera direct, it becomes like a removeable storage device.

you should be able to plug your cord into the usb port and it should automatically pull up a program that will let you open your pictures. You don't need to have the cd for the camera as long as you have some sort of program that you view pictures with.

I upload mine directly to the computer with a USB cord. They automatically pull in with the free software program I downloaded. You should be able to do similar.

I have Windows ME and I just connect cord from camera to computer and can just upload to computer to save in a file on there. From there I can upload to walgreens.com or where ever to print off.
What type of computer do you have? Do you have USB cord?

Also, often the camera company will have the software available free for downloading on their site. I know Kodak does.
