What's going on today, Mon. 8/20?

Today is the first day of school. I need to wash the bedding, drive dd to school, go clean a house that is for rent (mop, scrub, etc..), pick up dd at bus stop at 3:45, figure out dinner (may be leftovers). It's hot out already, and humid

Today is a work day for me and a school day for both DDs. I'll drop DD16 off at school and then drive myself to work. DD16 has band practice this evening from 6 - 9 and DD18 has to work from 5:30 - 11. Everyone is going in different directions. Don't know what DH is up to today.

Get a jump on my reading for my fall class
Get a haircut

Straighten the bedroom

I really just have to help my oldest DS pack for college, clean countertops, put clean dishes away from the dishwasher, straighten up a bit then cook dinner.

Tonight is bowling night so I leave at 8:45pm and get back at like 11:30pm, family fun night!

First day of school here for DD too. We also have company staying with us. BIL and his wife. After school we are meeting with FIL then going to cheerleading pratice from 6 til 8. Supper will be at Golden Corral with everyone. Best place for BIL to met Dad he hasn't seen in 30 plus years. Less stressful we hope.

As for me today its rainy rainy rainy, so we will be playing inside all day. Trying to stay sane with only 16 days until school! It seems so far away since most of your kids already started!

Daughter has gymnastics tonight and I will be cooking alot today since it is cool here. 65 again! Try to get some upstairs cleaning done tonight and thats basically it! Need to sell a bunch of kids clothes (not working too well on craigslist..and cant seem to find time to dedicate to ebay..so not sure if i should just donate..or what?)

Good morning!
Dh has the day off & is already driving me up a wall. He uses this big huge tape dispenser to tape up boxes to mail out. He's literally taping this entire box...it's the most annoying sound in the world

He's going to be running errands (haircut, library, post office, registering the truck) while the kids & I stay home & clean up the house. Need to:

~vacuum downstairs
~sweep kitchen, dining room, mudroom
~completely clean out litter boxes
~wash breakfast dishes
~empty upstairs & downstairs hampers
~wash, dry, fold, put away laundry
~put the finishing touches on my menu/grocery list for Wednesday
~scrub the bathrooms (all three)

I'm hopeful that I will at least get half of that list done

DD #1 is on her way up from Baltimore for a visit!..haven't seen her since winter!!.....Getting ready to do my workout....it is rainy and humid here!!...I want to get something in the crockpot for dinner and try to clean up the bathroom before dd gets here!!...Have a great day!!

Good Morning! I don't have much to do today.

DH left for work about 45 mins ago and the kids are still sleeping so I am just doing laundry and enjoying my quiet morning time.

Today I have to:

Get 2 packages in the mail from things I have sold online

Do the usual household cleaning and cooking.

Then I have set a goal to clean out at least 1 closet and 2 drawers in each room a day. I have started to realize that I am an impulse shopper and buy things I don't need or I buy things and put them away and forget I bought them.

When I cleaned out my pantry and freezer last week I found a lot of food I didn't realize we had ..because I never look to see what I have before I go shopping...no wonder I was spending so much money!

So other than playing with and tending to the kids and the dog today.

That's all I am doing...beside my usual daily freebies hunting, looking for paid surveys and listing things to sell on ebay..lol

today i have one house to clean
one to walk thru and price
my weekly menu and grocery list to accomplish
one bathroom here is due for its wipe down
dishes to wash and unload
laundry to catch up
dinner to make
and some knitting to do if i get a chance
