new products pulled from china
Is anyone else worried about products from china? Here are a couple of links about new things being recalled and pulled from shelves. One is Wal Mart is pulling dog food treats, and the other New Zealand is pulling childrens pajamas. I am getting a little nervous about buying products from china.

The thing is that so much of products sold here in the USA are made in china. What are your thoughts?

We were at the store this weekend looking for a few new toys for the baby. Good luck trying to find toys not made in China! It is terrible!

I'm really trying hard to avoid products made in China. With kids toys you can still find American made but not from Target or one of those stores. You just have to search online.

ya, now I look and see where my things are made. I try to avoid made in china at all costs. IMO its just too risky without all the regulations and such that we have here.

I agree, I am trying to avoid anything made in China, it's a shame too because these days now we have to watch so many things.

I'm trying not to buy anything from China anymore, especially not edibles. For one thing, it's killing our economy, and another, I don't feel safe. I guess this cuts back on what I can buy, but I don't shop much at Wal-Mart, so that cuts out a lot.
I won't even buy a foreign car, though. I'm all for keeping as many American dollars in America as I can. I buy locally whenever possible, to keep my money in the local economy. I even try to shop only in my county, to keep my sales tax here.
I have found out that my cat died from food fed to him by a neighbor...recalled food with that poison wheat from China. That pretty much sealed the deal for me.
I'm also trying to avoid foods grown in Mexico. I've gone back to buying only seasonal fruits and veggies from the U.S.Last edited by Jaded; 08-29-2007 at 11:25 AM.
