Took ods to college today, thats why I wasnt here...

he moved into his dorm. We met his roommate Scott who seems like a nice kid. We got eveything unpacked and ods said I organzied well for such a small space. We went to financial aid, the cashier and then picked up his books. One of his books is on back order and the professor is aware so dont know what will happen with that. His calculus book was $172. I about dropped dead. Went back to his dorm, dropped those off and had lunch with his roomate and parents. We chatted and got to know each other a little.
One of the administration knows ods from our trips up there and she came and told him she had been thinking of him as she knows he is a scholarship kid and is setting up a couple things for next yr.HIs resident assistant set up a dinner for their dorm floor tonight so that they all can get to know each other. After lunch he walked us to our cars, shook dh's hand, told yds he MIGHT miss him, hugged me and told me he loved me. Thats big cuz he hardly ever says that. I teared up but did well and told him I loved him and if he needed anything to call. He walked away, turned around and waved and off he went. Hes a young man now and I am proud of him.
