    I'm soooo bad.

We went this afternoon (Friday) to Old Country Buffet (I don't know why I go here... I always feel yucky after eating their food). It'll be a while before I go back there... even at lunch prices it was $16 for the 2 of us!!
Yesterday (Thursday) we went to chinese buffet. We can go there, lunch or dinner, any day of the week and eat till our stomach's explode, including beverage and tax for $12.70!! The food is 100x better too!!

I know, I know, I could have bought a whole week's worth of groceries just about with what was spent in two days!!

We had 1/2 price sushi two weeks ago. And picked up a $5 Lil Caesars pizza yesterday. Last week is was about $10 at IHOP for breakfast after a long night of work.

Last Saturday I picked up a quarter pound of chopped barbeque on the way home after a long shift at work to make quick sandwiches.

Eating out in a restaurant is a rarity, but at the first of August I took out a couple for lunch. Ken is the only person I know with a pickup, and he had hauled some bulky stuff for me back in May. I promised them lunch in return if we could ever find a time all three of us could get together. We went to the Golden Corral, about $27, but worth every penny for the help and the chance to visit with them.

My mom was kind enough to treat me to dinner out this past Thursday, and on Friday my office had a good-bye party for me, including pizzas!

Saturday the 18th. We went out to local Mexican food place and had yummy cheese enchiladas. It was lots of food and was less than $20 for both of us including a bowl of queso for an appetizer.

Last weekend. Tallying this and the receipts from the grocery store made an alarm go off here!

DH loves to eat out though, and I don't mean fast food, I mean restaurant food, it's going to be tough to break him of the habit! His family ate out all the time. Mine did too....

I'm amazed at all of you guys! I bow down to your frugalness. I am in awe of your home-eating ways.

We eat out "never" compared to most of our friends, and we go out about once a week. We're doing great if we've gone more than a week and haven't eaten out.
