When was the last time you ate out?
I've gone 1 1/2 weeks without eating out. After awhile, it doesn't even seem appealing. Eating 'expensive food' at home (like $3.20 Tyson SS Chicken per meal) is still cheaper than eating out - not to mention saved gas money

Last night, but only because we had some errands to run and I knew we would get home too late for me to cook. We will be eating away from home again tonight, but that's for the football fundraiser. Does that count?

We went to Cracker Barrel on Monday. The kids got coupons for free kids' meals from the library reading program, so we just had to pay for 2 adult meals, me and DH.
We get takeout maybe once a week, but hadn't been to a restaraunt in a while.Nicole, Mom of 4 ages 6-16~

We haven't eaten out in a while, even when it's brought up I usually say I can make that at home and spend $2 or so instead of $15, that usually changes our minds

While my mom(75) was here from Fla. I took her to the candy factory(don't even ask what I bought. My thighs are still groaning) and then I took her out to lunch. First time I have eaten out in almost a year.

Monday 8/20, dad took the whole family out to eat, cause my sister was in town. So spent $0 and even had leftovers for lunch the next day for all of us.

Last night - just went for fish and chips (anniversary). The time before that was last weekend but we had a gift certificate, so the meal was free (it was an incredible meal!!). We are trying to eat less fast food, and instead go out once in a while to a nicer type place - I think we're still saving money that way. But those egg mcmuffins are hard to give up!! :-)

I don't remember!
I'm thinking it was the last time we went to the drive in (7/15) but that's a LONG time ago... I know we brought home the take & bake pizza's from Sam's Club, but I consider those more like frozen pizzas than eating out.
I have to think harder lol. I'm thinking that eating out, a meal (fast food or sit down), as a family was 7/15. Dh buys lunch at work occassionally. And today I bought the kids pretzel sticks at the mall ($7 for the 5 of us including a drink) but that was more of a snack/reward for behaving while oldest dd got her 2 hour long hair cut
