My husband getting laid off
Well I've posted a few things in the past regarding my husband getting laid off from his job and me not working. Well I'm so happy to post that I got a job today!! It's going to make things so much easier for us! I could've started tomorrow but I think I'm going to wait until Monday. It's still going to be rough for us for a few weeks since I'll only get paid every other week and being the time I start I won't get a pay check until Oct. 7th and he has a 1 week waiting period for his unemployment to kick in! But I'm just happy to report I got a job!!!

That must be a small relief during these rough times. Hope everything goes well from here.

Thanks for all the support! It's going to be so hard getting back into the workforce after so much time off!
I am a CMA (Certified Medication Aide) and I will be putting it back to use! It's like a Med Tech, but I can pass meds in a residential care facility and not a nursing home. It's a pretty easy job and I very much enjoy it! The people I work with are older folks but must meet certain criteria to live here, such as they must be able to walk and do quite a bit for themselves. We are there for support to get to the bathroom or getting into bed and things like that. The only fall back are my hours!!! 4:30am to 1 pm Getting off at 1 will be nice, but not sure about the 4:30AM!!!!!
