Hit and Run Sk*nk!!!!
Was in the parking lot of a store Sunday with DD, new g-baby and a GF .We pulled into a space, were talking and getting ready to exit, when someone slammed into the back of our vehicle.(She was backing out of her space-WTH????)We got out of the vehicle, and before I could say a word the woman driver jumps out and begins screaming that we were not hurt, our vehicle was not damaged, and we were not going to get a penny from her.WTH???Then.......... she drove off!!!There were several bystanders who witnessed it, took her plates, and reported it. Plus, the store has a video security system. She of course, was busted. She did have insurance. We took the baby to the ER to be checked out, just in case.People, she was straight out of Deliverance.I wanted to slap her, but I'm sure her insurance will give her the tap she so richly deserved(in my opinion). As well as her driving record.I'm getting my vehicle in the shop for the scratches. Hope you have a better start to your week!!!LOL

Have had something similiar happen
I was waiting to turn left and someone ran into me. The child in the car got out and screamed at me that "You killed my mom!" as we drove into the shopping center where I was going (where my store was). They lived on the other side of the center so the father came out and started screaming, the kid was screaming, the cop was threatening to arrest the dad (who'd walked over), people I worked with were screaming....
I told the cop I was going to my store, right there, and call my insurance and husband. And did.
Duh, it was her fault. People turned around to tell the cops so. She tried to say that I'd slammed on my brakes. Uh...no, I'd been there waiting to turn left and let someone come out of the shopping center, so she must have looked at my lights just as I had taken my foot off the brake and then put them back on. But I hadn't moved....
That kid scared me to death though I will say....

Well that was a heck of a way to start the week wasn't it? GEEZ, where are all these loonies coming from these days, wow!~!!!
I'm so glad you're all ok and the damage was minor, and I hope her insurance company hits her with a double whammy!!
BTW, most bizarre accident we've had was NOT our fault, we weren't damaged at all, but the other idiot tried to sue US! Hubby was stopped to turn left on a state route with our crew cab dually and 3 horse slant load goose neck trailer (think REALLY REALLY long rig here). There were 4 vehicles behind him. (two just happened to be really good friends who witnessed the whole thing.)
Hubby finally gets a clear shot, starts his left hand turn only to see a jeep grand cherokee coming right at his drivers side, right at HIM!@!!! The driver of the jeep swerved left, just missed our truck, went through a gaurd rail and flipped, twice, end over end!!! No one was seriously injured thank GOD.
The IDIOTS in the Jeep were in a hurry and tried to pass 4 STOPPED CARS ON A STATE ROUTE!!
To add insult to injury apparently they had BAD driving records and tried to sue us for totalling their vehicle AND for mental and emotional duress, ROTFLMAO!!

Anytime you are rearended it is automatically THEIR fault. Duh, it's the law and I can't believe people keep trying to change it to suit them.
Annymol, I am glad the psycho woman got busted. I can't believe what people try to get away with, but more than that I think it's funny that she did it the way she did. She as much as admitted to it being her fault in front of other people. LOL tsk tsk tsk. stupid people.
