Default not sure what to do....

i got offered another job, it is home health care for a lady i have known for around 25 years, she was in a car wreck last year and is now paralized. she called the other day and said she would meet my salary now, plus maybe pay insurance. no weekends( i don't work them now) no holidays( i have to work them if they fall during the week, now)

    here are my concerns:
she is making great strides, what if seh does not need me in 8 months or so
what if i quit my job now and can't work with her
dh says no don't quit my current job as there is no gaurentee that it will work out

i am thinking that maybe i could just pull a few afternoons and keep my job now, we recently got denied a house loan due to our credit, and this would help with the money to pay off debt.
i cannot go with out insurance, i am almost 46 and have health issues
    any input would be great

A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. Stay where your at your building a work history which is also important to creditors.

I'd also try to stay where you are, but offer to work some afternoons/weekends if you can to help her plus make extra money.

I agree with previous posters as well. Maybe help her out as much as possible to make some extra income, but stick with the sure thing.
