Now I need a biz name :-)
Hi!!
OK I've ordered my supplies and got my biz plan about ready. But I need a business name. :-)
My logo/signature will have something to do with butterflies. And maybe I could incoraprate bubbles in it some way.
So any ideas as far as biz name goes??
BTW- If I choose a name that some suggests I'll send you a package of the cherry lemonade bath salts that will part of my "signature" pack to try. :-) Im posting this on my blog and another forum as well. :-)
Thanks!! And I hope its ok that I post this.

Sorry, silly but it was the first thing that popped into my head when you said butterflies and bubbles.

Awesome! Thanks for suggestions! Keep em coming.
Edna, I'll be doing soaps and bath salts for now. And eventually spreading out to lotions, shower gels, etc.

I thought of Bubblefly too, or "Social Bubblefly", but was afraid it sounded silly! Or, "Pure EfferveSCENTS." Or, "Butterfly Kisses." Good Luck!

i LOVE the bubblefly idea!! your logo could look like a butterfly with bubbles as the body. i can picture it in kind of a soothing watercolr type butterfly.
or what about "bubblin' butterflies"? the logo could be a butterfly taking a bath. a bit more cartoon-ish.
or "bubbles and butterflies"? logo could be a pale watercolor sky with bubbles and beautiful butterflies.
okay, this is fun!!

A recommended thing from a branding professional(info given to me, not by me) is to pick something that describes what you're doing. They say to avoid made up names, while they can work, such as in the case of ebay, or combined words to make up a new word, such as...well, that I can't remember. It can work to do so.
Also keep the name to 3 syllables or less. Keeps it easy.
Avoid cutesy names, always do a search to check how popular, if it's coming up with a bunch you'll be in major competition for those words on google. Choose a couple words that can describe your products, but something unique at the same time

The bank I work for is currently going through a name change and they hired branding professionals to help us pick a name. We were actually told that we wanted a name that stands out. For example---Kinko's, Starbucks.
We ended up chosing Vantus (which is derived from advantage and us because the customers will have an advantage banking with us).
Maybe the branding/success of a name is dependent upon location as well?McD

A bank is a big thing, it'll stand out. Smaller internet based companies have to look out for how people search. If Starbucks had been only an internet business, you'd never know they were a coffee business.
Bubblefly.com is an existing business, it is a cute name though.
