delurking after yrs of reading
I have been reading/learning from here for years but not as seriously or with as much effort as i should have and I really want to change that and I think the only way to I will really do it is if I force myself to come out and take on some serious accountability so here goes...
How did you hear about frugal village? I found this site yrs ago after linking to it from FrugalFamilies when I first got really interested in saving money after stumbling across the tightwad gazette.
What interests you here? everything!!! everything!!! everything!!! ...I have "lurked" at quite a few sites over the yrs but I always seem to end up back here because it is just the only one without fighting, judgeing, cliches, nit picking, and covers so many bases and different areas. Its just amazing!
Do you know any other members here? no
How many kids? Ages? I have 2 boys 14 and 16
Tell us about yourself.I have been a SAHM mom for the last 16 yrs and have just very recently started dipping my tippy tip toe into WOH. I have been married to a wonderful man for forever now or 12 years come Jan. I love my life and I am very blessed but I also NEED to totally revamp and get serious about saving money and being more responsible with what we do have, so in spite of being terrified of de-lurking I am going to just do it before I change my mind.
Do you own any pets? 2 cats
Married or single? very much married forever
Interests and hobbies? spending time with my husband and children, adoring aunt totally insane about her neice and nephew, reading, cooking, learning, basically I am a family oriented, serious nerd who could eat 24 hrs a day!

I just want to thank everyone for being so welcoming and friendly! I delurked and then immediatly went on a posting frenzy it feels like. But I also feel very proud of myself and already like I am in more control just by posting and being proactive instead of putzing and putting it off like I am prone to do.
Thanks again for all the warm welcomes!
