    Default Layoffs today

    I am a little creeped out today. Dh just called and told me his company laid off everyone working 2nd and 3rd shift. It came as a shock to most of them they had no idea the company was in trouble. Dh is safe for now and is 2nd in seniority.
    We have seen this before in the last recession. Dh is a printer for a packaging company and when the economy starts to go bad it's one of the first things to slow down. Scary if you ask me.

    Ohh that is scary. I hope your dh feels safe for now. I know my dh's work is way day this year and its a little scary becuase I worry about his hours.

    Oh, that would be scary! So glad he didn't get laid off! Are there any rumors about any more layoffs coming? I hope not! I feel sorry for the people did get laid off...and not expecting it...ugh...hope they all had their EF's ready!
