How long ago was dh supposed to be back home? As for our dog, is it growling because of the thunder? Mine freak out with thunder. Hang in there okay? Let us know how you're doing. He'll be back soon.

Okay, are you afraid of the thunder, or are you afraid of your dog growling? Is there something outside? Or is it just thunder?

Hi there Baxjul. Just a few questions, okay? Do you live in a larger area or a rural area? If a larger area, I'd call the police just so that they can do a quick patrol and make sure everything okay outside. Do you have any neighbours you can call?

I live in a pretty populated area, the dog is now laying by my feet. He must have been growling at the thunder.

Ya, it sounds like your dog just isn't appreciating the thunder too much, and also can sense that you're scared as well. Call the police to put your mind at rest - it couldn't hurt. But, I think that you were scared because of being alone, and the dog sensed that and with the thunder, decided to growl and give you a good scare in the process! You doing okay?

Could your dog be growling because you are worried/upset? Hunter will get tense if i do. Then i notice he's tense, and it makes me more tense...and we just feed off each other till i calm down. Hope what ever it is, that you both can relax this evening. big hugs to you!
