I went shopping this evening and purchased a small gift for the birthday girl. I think I am going to have a beer or two and just relax and slowly go through junk/clutter piles here - lets see how much I can really get rid of this wknd!

I need to pack up a box of items for my gf whom Im going out of town to see next weekend so I need to be prepared.

I was fortunate enough to get my windshield cracked by a passing car who ran over and kicked up a huge ROCK and now I will have to go get that fixed tomorrow.

Other then that, trying to relax and get my mind off of things - thats my goal! Oh and a lil house cleanin too
Teeheehee! I get to quote myself!

Sunday I was taken out by a good friend who deemed that I needed to visit with him and be cheered up. We went down to Niagara Falls and donated to the casino for a lil while. I spent a total of $40 gambling. Not very frugal I know but I dont go often and with the company I was with, it was very much worth it. Lasted me 4 hours!!! We then walked down to the Falls and took a few pics, toured around on foot and just caught up with each other. Next was a wonderful dinner at the KEG (steakhouse) - yum!! This day only cost me $50 total (I had bought a few drinks b/c it was a hot day) but my friend decided I needed some pampering and a boost to my ego. Treated me like a lady the entire time and Im sooo not used to it but still had a wonderful time nonetheless...but I have no clue how he knew to pick yesterday.

Today I went out for lunch with other friends and they treated! 3 hour lunch catching up followed by a lovely nap

I think I finally got to 'relax' this weekend - it was long overdue. I know I am loved. Just when you think no one notices, they all step up to the plate.
