DD is staying at a friend's tonight, then tomorrow night they will be here. DS will be studying a lot (he's taking 20 hours this semester). I have schoolwork, housecleaning, bill paying, etc. We also have to do a little painting at the house we are selling.

Decluttering, cleaning, and organizing!!! Last spring my husband and I started doing that in our garage. (We have a garage that is two and one half cars wide but two cars deep so the back half of our garage is used as a recreation room. We have a dart board, bought on sale, and a like new pool table we purchased for $600.00 that cost $2000.00 new.) Now we are doing that in the house. It's amazing how much better you feel after you comleted a task. Our goal is to have the whole house done so we can paint this spring.

Long wknd eh? Man summers over now

I have birthday dinner to go to tomorrow evening and am skipping the 'entertainment' portion afterwards due to lack of funding.

I went shopping this evening and purchased a small gift for the birthday girl. I think I am going to have a beer or two and just relax and slowly go through junk/clutter piles here - lets see how much I can really get rid of this wknd!

I need to pack up a box of items for my gf whom Im going out of town to see next weekend so I need to be prepared.

I was fortunate enough to get my windshield cracked by a passing car who ran over and kicked up a huge ROCK and now I will have to go get that fixed tomorrow.

Other then that, trying to relax and get my mind off of things - thats my goal! Oh and a lil house cleanin too

Saturday we have a picnic with some former school mates that we have kept in touch with. Should be fun. Sunday we are doing more paint on the trim of our house.Monday we are picking up around here and then in the evening we are heading out for a mini vacation to Arkansas, just to putter around, flea markets, antiquing, and the like. Hope everyone has a safe weekend.

I have to work Saturday and Sunday, but Monday is the first day of NINE days off!

For that I plan to do plenty of cooking and freezing, a little housework, and an awfully lot of nothing much.

Not only is dh working all weekend, including Monday, he was also informed he would be working on his only day off (Tuesday).

Saturday the kids & I are cleaning the inside of the house & baking some cookies for school lunches next week. Then we'll watch a movie or two. In the evening I'll be working on homework.

Sunday the kids & I are cleaning up the yard & the back porch...putting the pool away for the season, picking up the toys etc. More homework in the evening for me.

Monday I don't have school so it's just me & the kids. The boys need haircuts before school. I'll be getting backpacks & stuff labeled. I guess I'm sending the boys to school with empty backpacks since the school didn't see fit to either send me supply lists or tell me where I could print them/find them. Again with the homework in the evening.

I'm working all weekend. I'm off at 6 tomorrow, then I close both Sunday and Monday...10:30 at night, so no picnics for me. That's o.k., because I get paid double time for Monday, and I need the money.

Saturday I'm doing more unpacking, from moving, and in the evening my parents are arriving from California for a visit! Woo hoo! I miss them! Sunday, we're going to church, and then afterward having a big family birthday party for my son who's turning 5 and my nephew who's turning 7. On Monday we have been invited to our new neighbor's for a BBQ. I think it's gonna be a great weekend! Have a good, long, relaxing weekend everyone!

We'll just hang out at home (like all holidays) and BBQ some pork steaks and brats. We might jump in the pool. It won't be long now and we'll close it down for the year.
