    Default Mowing the grass...

about to go cut the grass. If I don't show up for a couple of days, I died of heat stroke! LOL

Seriously, I just went out for about 15 minutes to water plants, and I'm sweating like a horse!

So I don't know how much I'm gonna get done, but I'm gonna try to get the front and sides done. The poor backyard hasn't been cut in three weeks, but I have to keep the wolves at bay...the city only looks at the front. If it's more than 12" high, they write you up. Of course, then they give you 10 days to mow it. Last time this happened, it rained for 8 of the ten days, almost all day. I called them and they understood and gave me another 10 days.

This city is like a little communist state.

Don't forget to take your water bottle and a wet rag to put around your neck. Stay cool!

Decided not to cut the grass today. It will have to wait until tomorrow evening when it's cooler. I just can't brave this heat and humidity!

I agree!! It's just too hot.

My DH was out of town for almost 2 months. It's not frugal, but I hired someone to do it. He does such a good job and I don't hear complaining out of DH, so we might just keep him. I figure the benefits outweight the costs.

That's one lovely thing about being in apartment. Someone else does the yardwork!
