I just cleared out stuff from my grandfathers old antique desk in the basement. I plan on refinishing it. It's going in a spare bedroom (we have one now that one of our daughters moved out) which will become an office.....with a bed for me to sneak into for those nights dh snores.

Dh and I are going to run to Sams and buy 3 gallons of milk, 3 dozen eggs and bananas. I'll stop at the bread store while I'm there and buy some bread so I don't need to waste another trip. I'll also run into Shop-n-Save and buy Pepsi (on sale 10/$8.88) and corn on the cob 5/$1.00 (I think)

Then I'll help dd16 put her new comforter set on her bed that my MIL bought her.

Maybe go to church this evening.

That's about it, other than making dinner.

I was lazy this morning.

This afternoon the kids & I went out & cleaned up the back porch, cleaned the back yard, emptied the pool, and washed the van. All that is left is to clean the pool, deflate it, let it dry and fold it up to put it away.

I just made macaroni salad for dinner and am relaxing & watching Miss Congeniality on tv

My mom came over and we went through all of my fabric and I decided what I wanted to make for Christmas gifts. I think most everyone is getting a home made gift. I'm going to make some table runners, a quilt or two, a couple of totes and a table topper. Whew when i type it all out, it sure seems like a lot!

I cooked ribs and cabbage on the grill and we had sliced tomatoes to go with. Had some sliced peaches and vanilla ice cream for dessert!

Now I'm going to relax a bit! I'm exhausted!

Cleaned the upstairs--two bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, and an office/den. And 4 loads of laundry.

I work til 11, then I'm going by Kroger's and Walgreen's on my way home. I splurged a couple of days ago on a trimmed brisket, and I'll put it in the crockpot when I get home to cook overnight. Is my kitchen ever going to smell good in the morning!

Woke up early to make breakfast for everyone, read the paper, and sat and talked to DS#1 for a while.

DS#1 and 2 went to visit DS#1's girlfriend. Then they all went to the movies.

DH is BBQing. I have been working on and off on some homework. Later, I think I am just going to crash and be lazy.

Couldn't go to church since I'm having back/leg problems, and moving around too much is painful. So I've done paperwork, made a cake and cookies for DD and DS and their friends, read the paper, stuff like that.

I painted my fingernails for the first time in probably 2 years. They've grown a lot recently so I just did it to cheer myself up. They look good.

Got up and went to church... then met some friends at a great seafood restaurant. (the flounder was delicious)... Took a friend to see her sister in the hospital. After I came home, I took a nap until the phone rang. Afterall a pretty good day.

The kids were out with their Dad this morning, so I vacuumed, did laundry, cleaned the bathrooms, and looked on craigslist for a bed for dd. Guess what, scored a darling twin 4 poster bed for dd for $50!!!! with mattresses. I am so happy, so the kids Dad went with her to pick it up. WOOT! WOOT! This totally took care of a problem and saved a lot of money.
