Default Move to Kansas, get FREE land!

I just thought I would post this for anyone looking to escape their fast-paced, high cost of living existence. There are several communities in Kansas that will GIVE you a building lot for FREE (utilities are already in), if you will move there and build a home. Marquette is very nice, and not far from Hutchinson and Wichita. There are others to choose from. Here is a link for more info:

Wow! If I could take the cold, I'd do it! I love small towns. Isn't that the area where all those tornadoes hit, though? Marquette sounds familiar.

I don't remember any tornadoes hitting Marquette, but tornadoes are a way of life in Kansas. I have lived here most of my life, and have never been personally affected by one. Greensburg, KS is the town in SW Kansas that was recently devastated by a tornado.

I personally LOVE to watch the prairie thunderstorms roll in. They are awesome to watch. Most often there is only rain, lightening, wind, and less often hail. Tornadoes happen only when conditions are right for them to form. I personally have only seen two small ones in 45 years, and they didn't come anywhere near where I was.

I wish they were offering free land in Florida somewhere! LOL

Actually, I think Kansas is beautiful, and like I said, if I could take the cold, I'd do it, in spite of the tornadoes, but I'd be sure to have a basement with a storm shelter.
