    Unhappy yay

well our central air went out today. i wondered why i kept getting hotter and hotter, then i realized there was no air coming out of the vents. so i called my friend who happens to work on air conditioning and he's out of town at the moment. argh! oh well, on the bright side, at least we're having a 'cool front' and it's only 83 as opposed to the mid ninties we've been having.

Oh, that sucks...I hope you don't get in the 90s until you can get it repaired.

Wow, that stinks! At least you have a pal that can fix it. I have a friends who's ac went out over the summer, she had a big party planned, and had to pay for a whole new unit + an extra fee because it was a 'rush' job!

What a bummer! That happened to us one summer and, in this part of the country , you don't want to be without an A/C even in September. I hope you get it to working before it gets too hot again.

Thats stinks. I Hope you friend gets back soon. We were out of a/c for weeks right in the middle of the summer. Yes, my dh is the a/c man but what can I say. Its the old story of the cobblers children who had no shoes. Actualy we were waiting for the home warrenty to send us a check so we could buy a new unit.
