Wink In debt over my head

Hello everyone, I've been "peeping" onto this site for the past month. I can't believe our debt when I compare it. But... the best thing is this site has given me the guts to come out of the closet today and do something about it !! There are a lot of inspiring stories & people and I really need the motivation (not daily but hourly..).

I've always leaned naturally towards frugality, I hate to waste. But guess kids, jobs, home, keeping up with the Joneses.... 2 cars, 2 cats, 1 ferret (who's bright idea was that one?? lol) I am now totally motivated to seeing change and really psyched to be a part of THE village

Thanks Cricketlegs, thx for the offer. I'm certainly willing to listen to all the advice I can get. Yes, we have started snowballing since May 2007. As for groceries, being in Canada we don,t have the great coupon deals as in the US but I have started a price book since this past winter and love those loss leaders. We also have a big freezer to stock up and I cook a lot from scratch. If you have any tips, let'm loose...
