Default If you could live in any state, which one would you choose?

DH and I are looking into NH for when he graduates. DH likes the libertarian politics and I like the idea of having seasons. We live in South TX right now and it's hot all the time.

I live in Georgia and I love it except for the heat, but I would love to try Montana. The mountains, scenery, vistas, colors----looks great!

Wow, that is a hard one. There are so many beautiful places to live in this country. I guess if I had to choose, I would probably pick some where coastal, maybe the Carolinas. It would be hard to not think Hawaii though, or Alaska, or California, or Florida.....well you get the picture...I can't make up my mind, too many beautiful states to choose from. I guess I better stay right here in my beautiful Lone Star state .

I would be here, in FL, but able to live here comfortably. If I couldn't be here, I'd be in Georgia.

Probably just where we live now...Texas. My family goes back eight generations here and when you have that kind of history, it's definitely home. Although, of all the places we've travelled, I think the Black Hills area of South Dakota and northern Arizona are really beautiful areas. If I had to live anywhere else, it would be either of these two states/areas.

Washington State or Alaska would be my first two picks -- WA being the more realistic one for us in the near future.

I have no desire to live anywhere other than the midwest. I love it. I look forward to our 4 seasons (yes even the snow, wind and cold). Wouldn't change a thing.
