    Default Ok, I didn't even make it a month....things are worse than I feared

    I broke, I choked, I fell off the wagon..............................

    I was about to get my haircut at the mall (Ok decided this is dangerous, need to find another place to get a haircut), Gripey was with me and we had some time to kill (alarm bells going off everywhere, eh?). We were in Sears of all places, he was looking for a special light and I wandered over to the clothes. There were clearance racks EVERYWHERE! Everything was 1/2 price and then marked 75% off that. I bought a pair of black shorts (I really did need some black shorts......:nervous: ) for $4.49 - reg. $34. I'm not really ashamed, even though I publicly announced no new clothes for a year..... . To top it off I ordered a new pair of Skechers to go with. So there, I'm a failure but to be honest I'm not sad about it. Now, if I start over I guess I'll try a month first. My dd#2 said "mom you gotta start small and then try to add to it", lol. So since I couldn't even make it a month I probably should start with 3 days, increase to a week and then 2 and then a month.....rofl. Anyway it was $4.49 for a pair of really cute shorts and I'll be so happy in em!

    ~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

    If you're gonna fall off the wagon, I'd say $4.49 is the way to do it. Enjoy your shorts and keep going.
