    Default Another son brag

My eldest son (23) is in another state and has been in grad school in aerospace engineering. He has one more year to go--maybe just two quarters if he can get it all done and write his thesis, etc.

He has been doing an internship in the state of ______ at an aerospace corporation for the summer--pretty good pay, and he was hoping for a continuing PT job there whilst working on the rest of his masters.

While waiting, a prof from school ran inot him and asked him if he would TEACH the freshman class next year (not TA, which he has done before) because, (he said) my son was well qualified and knew the material as well as himself. There apparently was not a prof to teach it this coming quarter. My son is not even finished with his masters and is not a prof, just a grad student! AND it comes (praise the Lord) with health insurance, and FREE tuition for the quarter (covers the cost of my son's classes.) And a whopping good salary.

WooHoo. Now we don't have to worry whether he can afford tuition (at least one quarter) or whether he has health insurance. He still would like to work for this aerospace corp. someday (it's what he's been schooled for) but this is great for the time being.
