    Default Weather!

Sunny Florida isn't being so sunny! I haven't seen the sun all day, and it is downright depressing!!!! I don't know how I ever survived up north when it would be gray and miserable for weeks on end!!!!

I woke up to ice on my car windshield and frost on the lawn... Looks like it'll be a sunny day, though...just chilly!

I wish it would turn cold here. Over 90 - really don't like Texas in the summer time the older I get.

Yeah, it's been dark and rainy all day here. We really need the rain though.

It's been cold here. Around 30 degrees at night for the last 2 nights, but it looks like it's going to warm up in the next few days. Which is good, because I don't want to turn the furnace on yet!!! Not ready for summer to be gone yet either!

Gee! I WISH I HAD rain!!! Its been sunny and down right hot here in Bradenton. Just goes to show you how weird Florida weather can be. Julie is about 100 to 150 miles north of me and the weather is not the least bit alike.
Hey Juile send the rain here tommorrow afternoon as we'll have trees that will need a good watering. lol

We reached a high of 80 degrees today. We have had such a hot summer, that this cooler weather is nice.

It's pretty sunny here, Julie. In fact, it's downright bright! I remember when I first moved to Florida. I moved in October, and they were just starting to plant out annuals everywhere. It was cool and green. I went back home for Christmas, and it was HORRIBLE! Cold, gray, dead. I wondered the same thing....how did I ever live through that? Well, the answer is, we didn't know any different. Now that I do, it would be very hard to go back to someplace like that again.

Laurie, you're 50 miles north of me, and we have pretty much the same weather until about November, when you get cooler, and I'm still sweltering! LOL

Today was a BEAUTIFUL day. Started out rather chilly (around 40*) but got up to 75* and just gorgeous.

Don't worry, I'm sure the sun will be back in the Sunshine state before too long
