    Default darn dogs!!!!!!!!

I had a telephone interview with a company that does online work for a few travel sites. My dogs that rarely bark started barking!!!!!!!!!!! Once the interview was done I went out and saw the mail lady had put a large box into the front seat of my car.

I'm going to guess their barking will cost me the job since a quiet office is a must for at home work!!!!!

    Grumble!!!!!

Oh no! I feel for you. If you don't get the job, it might be worth a shot to ask if the noise had anything to do with their decision, and if so, explain the situation and see if they might give you a chance regardless. If this was the only thing between you and the job, I would think they might.

    Just a thought.

Aww sorry to hear that - maybe next interview put them outside or in a different area of the house away from you being on the phone?? And why would the mail lady leave your 'delivery' IN your car and not on your doorstep? Isnt there some sort of protocall they must follow?? My car is usually locked up so if our mail carrier tried that it'd be called breaking and entering! LOL

Nah no protocol. I'm on a very rural route and it was raining. I'd told her it was ok forever ago since I routinely get large boxes and don't have a covered porch or anthing. I even get a nice little yellow card from the post office with her writting on the back saying the box is in the car put in the mail box.

Hum if I get another interview I'll lock the dogs in the barn I think. I was sure disappointed as there was alot of testing and screening to GET the interview.

I'm sorry to hear it. It does seem that dogs, kids, and husbands do their best to do their worst when we're on the phone.
