I am taking the plunge, ya'll!
Okay, so I sent away for a FREE Nicorette starter pack, I recieved it in the mail the other day and started it this morning!

I am surprisingly calm.
I am doing great! I hope to keep it up...keep me in your prayers, I need to quit smoking!

You can do it, girl!!!!! I started a thread about a week ago saying that I was celebrating my 1 year anniversary of being smoke-free. I quit cold turkey on 9/12/2006. You must do this for your health!!! There are actually several people on here who have stopped and their 1 year anniversaries are coming up.
My mantra during the difficult times was "never take another puff". I would tell myself this if it was getting hard and I was starting to panic. As long as you don't take that puff. . .you're smoke-free.

Hang in there you CAN DO IT...If you should fall just pick yourself up and start all over again....If I can do it after 40 years so can you....If you need to talk there are several that have done it on here and you can pm me any time.
