    Default Very productive day!

Well, had my ex BF coming over to fix my dishwasher, which took him about 15 minutes. I spent the morning cleaning because I didn't want him to see the house like it was. Don't know why, just didn't. Not like I would ever want him back.

Anyway, I got so much done! All dishes, pots and pans are now washed and dried, kitchen counters spotless, wooden rolling island cleaned out and scrubbed down (haven't restocked yet). I also cleaned the bathroom, mopped both rooms, vacuumed LR, DR, and hall and put down Arm and Hammer deodorizer, Febrezed all the furniture in those rooms, and put away stuff sitting around that I had bought but not put up.

Now I just have to put back the groceries on the island, stuff on the kitchen counters, and I'll start clearing off the tops of things in the LR, dust and polish.

I'm so proud of myself! I've been so lazy for so long, and to get all this done in just a couple of hours is AWESOME!

Tomorrow I tackle the bedroom....not such an easy job, but I really need to find some stuff in there. LOL

Oh yeah! forgot that I also started a crockpot of boiled peanuts. Can't wait for those to get done!

Thanks everyone! That's what I need....encouragement. I also cooked a chicken and took it down to my neighbor's house and we shared it for supper. She provided the veggies. Tomorrow I'm making chicken salad with fruit and nuts with the leftover and sharing that with her, but I'll take some iced tea this time.

She gave me seeds from a watermelon that volunteered in her compost pile. It was yummy, but very seedy. That's o.k., because I don't mind seeds if it tastes like that!

You had me til you hit the boiled peanuts. LOL. Tried them when I was down in Fla.
I gagged for hours just thinking about them. My oldest brother loved them.
I tackled my living room yesterday and it does feel good.

Boiled peanuts are a southern thing, and most northerners don't like them. That's o.k. I HATE codfish cakes! LOL In fact, I hate codfish, period. Give me a good old grouper or sea bass anyday.
